Idea Challenge – 3.0

Eligibility

• • This challenge is open only to students currently enrolled in colleges and polytechnics located in Kerala, India.

Idea Submission

• • Submitted ideas must be innovative and original. You cannot submit ideas copied from other sources.

• • It is recommended that participants take necessary steps to protect the privacy of their ideas.

Team Formation

• • Individual submissions are allowed. Individual participants will be responsible for presenting their own ideas.

• • Teams of up to 5 members can participate.

• • Team composition cannot be changed after the initial presentation of your idea.

• • If a team member is unable to participate in future stages of the event, the team leader can find a replacement with written consent from the departing member.

Idea Ownership and Implementation

• • All intellectual property rights associated with the submitted ideas will remain with the participants.

Support and Mentoring

• • Samrambhak Mithra will assist and mentor participants in finding potential investors to bring their ideas to life.

• • Samrambhak Mithra reserves the right to cancel, modify, or deviate from the program at any time during the event.

1.   The participants should be students at Colleges and Polytechnics in Kerala only.

2.   The Idea submitted should be innovative and not copied from other sources.

3.   The participant should take necessary steps for the privacy of their idea.

4.   In case of individual submission, the participants shall present the idea by himself/herself.

6.   Groups of maximum 5 numbers can submit Ideas.

7.   Participants cannot change their group members after presentation of the Idea in the programme.

8.   If a group member is not willing to participate in the event in future the group leader can substitute the member with written consent

of the retiring member.

9.   Ownership of all the Ideas will rest with the participant.

10. If the participant is abandoning the project at any stage, Samrambhak Mithra will have the right to proceed the implementation of the

project with their consent.  

11.  Samrambhak Mithra shall make necessary arrangements for finding suitable potential investors for implementing the Ideas.

12.  Samrambhak Mithra shall have the authority to drop or deviate the program at any time during the event.

13. Any litigation regarding Idea Challenge 3.0 shall be within the jurisdiction of any Court in Thiruvananthapuram city.

1.      Q: What is Idea Challenge 3.0 program?

A: A platform for student innovators to showcase their ideas to potential investors, partners, or customers.

2.      Q: Who can participate?

A: Any student in the Colleges and Polytechnics in Kerala with an innovative idea can participate.

3.       Q: Do I need to pay any money to register for the Idea Challenge 3.0

A: No. Idea Challenge 3.0  is FREE

4.      Q: What type of ideas are eligible?

A:  Ideas from any industry or domain, including technology, healthcare, sustainability, AI, Machine Learning and more.

5.      Q: How do I submit my idea?

6.     Q: What are the evaluation criteria?

A:  Ideas are judged on novelty, feasibility, social impact, Commercial viability and application, and presentation quality.

7.     Q: Who will evaluate my idea?

A: A panel of industry experts, investors, and other technical experts.

8.   Q: What are the benefits of participating?

A:  Mentorship, Potential investment, networking opportunities, and access to resources and support.

9.   Q: Is my idea protected?

A: Yes. It will be protected.

10.    Q: How long does the program last?

A:  The program typically runs for about 9 months, including idea submission, evaluation, and pitch training.

11.   Q: What happens during the pitch training

A:  Selected participants receive coaching and guidance to refine their pitch and presentation skills.

12.  Q: What is the final pitch event?

A:  An event where selected participants present their ideas to a panel of judges, Potential investors and other audience.

13.  Q: What happens after the program?

A: We provide ongoing support and connect participants with relevant resources, investors, and partners.

14.  Q. Can I submit more than one Idea ?

  A: YES. One can submit as many Ideas one can. But it should be submitted separately.

15   Q: Is there any age restriction for submission of Ideas?

A: No. But the participant should be a fulltime student.

16     Q: Is there any limit of members in a group?

  A: There shall be maximum 5 members.                           

17.     Q: Is there any scope for adding members from outside Kerala.

  A: No

18.    Q: I have presented my Idea in another similar challenge and got the award. Can I submit the same here?

A: Yes. But your Idea will be considered for award, if it is upgraded.
